Hi, I’m Emma

Animals have always been my world. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and horses — and I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t caring for a furry friend. Over the years, I’ve looked after pets of all ages, energies, and personalities, from bouncy puppies to shy rescues who just need a little extra patience.

I previously volunteered with the KWWSPCA, where I helped care for rescue cats and saw first-hand how much love and patience can change an animal’s life.

At home, I share life with my two dogs — Honey, a golden Cocker Spaniel with a big personality, and Oliver, a sweet Border Collie who’s happiest on long walks. They remind me every day why I started Darling Paw: to give pets the same level of love, comfort, and care I give my own.

Whether it’s a walk, a daily check-in, or an overnight stay, every visit is filled with play, cuddles, and genuine care — because I know how much your pets mean to you.

    We couldn’t be happier with having Emma mind our dogs for us. We got married recently and were really worried about leaving our dogs for the couple of days. Emma was amazing from first contact — she came over to meet both dogs who loved her right away. It gave us such peace of mind during our wedding weekend knowing they were so well looked after and cared for. Emma provided little photo updates for us during the weekend to keep our minds at ease.     Emma was a complete superstar! She went over and above in every single aspect. She took our little princess on multiple walks — even into a forest, which she had to drive to. Our spaniel loved Emma and those forest walks! Emma even brought her to a coffee shop where she could smell all the nice things. When we came back home, the house was immaculate. Throughout the stay, we received frequent updates and photos about all the fun they were having. Can honestly recommend Emma!

    Emma looked after Grizzly (our 5-month-old chocolate lab) for a series of home visits and walks, while we we're at a wedding for the weekend.     Emma is absolutely fantastic! Leroy can be a bit uncomfortable with new people but was at ease with Emma from the very first meet and greet, We got plenty of updates, including videos of them playing together, and it was very apparent when coming home that Leroy had been well looked after and was completely comfortable. The house was spotless and Leroy was happy, could not have asked for a better experience.
